I studied Visual Arts & Design at the Academy of Arts, where I completed my bachelor’s degree, with a background in art education. I spent many years working in the pedagogical and educational fields, teaching others to explore their own creativity. I even had the joy of teaching art classes from my own home. However, somewhere along the way, my personal passion for creating art took a backseat and my creative drive went into hibernation.
Years later, the pull to create art reawakened in me and I realized just how much joy and fulfillment it brings to my life. This rediscovery has led me to fully embrace my path as an artist, and today I’m thrilled to have my own studio in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, where I can spend my days painting and living my purpose.
My work is deeply rooted in observation, of both the natural world and the quiet, internal shifts we experience as humans. I find inspiration in textures shaped by time, in landscapes that hold stories, and in the unseen layers within ourselves. Walking through nature with my dog, I notice how elements soften and transform, a process that mirrors the subtle, often unnoticed changes within us.
Through my art, I explore these transitions, creating pieces that invite stillness and quiet reflection. With my work, I hope to offer a gentle pause, a moment to connect with what is felt but not always seen.
